THE SAUCE BASICS aims to ship out your order as quickly as possible.

Many items ship same or next day, however due to influxes of orders, it may take 3-5 business days to ship your order. We appreciate your patience and always do our best to ship quickly.

Typically, if your order was placed Monday through Thursday it will be shipped within 1-2 days, however at times it may take 3-5 days to ship. If your order was placed on Friday, the order will likely ship within 3-5 days. You will receive an e-mail confirming your order has shipped.

Please ensure you report an issue within the respective deadlines:

Damaged: Within 7 days of when the package was marked delivered
Defective: Within 7 days of when the package was marked delivered
Wrong Items: Within 7 days of when the package was marked delivered
Missing: Within 7 days of when the package was marked delivered
Quality: Within 60 days of when the package was marked delivered

SHIPPING RATE

We are currently offering Free Domestic Shipping on all orders over $50. All other shipping charges will be calculated and displayed at checkout.


Return Exchanges/Store Credit/Refunds

We have a 20-day return policy, which means you have 20 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

You can always contact us for any return question at customerservice@thesaucebasics.com. Returns are accepted within 20 days of order delivery. All returned items are inspected before an Exchange/Store Credit/Refund can be processed so please ensure that the items are in new, unworn, and unwashed condition; to include being free of smells, stains, makeup, deodorant, and/or bodily fluids. We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of wear or do not meet the above criteria.

Returns are completed with either a refund back to the original form of payment, an exchange for an alternate product, or store credit for an additional purchase. We offer return shipping labels via the online Returns Portal at a flat-rate of $8.00. Please note that these return shipping labels are available for use by U.S. Domestic customers only. The $8.00 Flat Fee Return will be deducted from the refunded amount from the original payment method. If you proceed with a store credit or exchange, note that we will waive the $8.00 label fee, complimentary on us.

Exchange requests are subject to product availability. If the requested item is no longer available at the time of return processing, a credit will be issued.

If you are returning an item that has been previously exchanged, there are no refunds on any exchange returns - you will be issued a store credit in the form of an E-Gift Card.

Reserved Rights Regarding Orders/Returns

We reserve the right to solely define and limit, refuse, and/or reject orders/returns from customers at any time due to:

An irregular or excessive returns history indicative of "wardrobing;"
An irregular or excessive returns history involving worn, altered, laundered, damaged, or missing items; or
Potential fraudulent or criminal activity.
"Worn" means any item that shows visible signs of wear, such as creases, stretched fabric, or pilling. This includes items that have been worn outside the house or have noticeable signs of use.

"Altered" means any item that has been modified or changed from their original condition, including alterations made by the customer or a third party. This includes shortened hems, added embellishments, or any other modifications that alter the original design.

"Laundered" means any item that has been washed, either by machine or by hand. This includes items that have been laundered using detergent, fabric softener, or any other cleaning agents.

"Damaged" means any item that has visible physical damage, such as tears, rips, holes, or stains that cannot be easily removed. This includes damage caused by accidents, improper handling, or inappropriate use.

"Missing" means any item components or parts of the item that are not present when returning, such as detachable accessories, tags, original packaging, or any included extras.

Returned-to-Sender & Refused Packages

Returned-to-Sender or Refused packages will be restocked and you will be issued store credit in the form of an E-Gift Card. We will do our best to get your package delivered, but we do not take responsibility for lost, misplaced, or incorrectly delivered shipments if the address information provided is incorrect at the time of purchase.
