When it came to collaborating with friends and surf pioneers, the Jake Patterson partnership was easy.  Jake built his name and surfing career from talent, hard work, sheer determination and mental focus. He had an incredible career on the ASP/WSL world surfing tour with victories all over the world. To name a memorable few, he's the West Australian Margret River Master, Sunset Beach Champion where he beat the great Andy Irons, and the holy grail being Pipeline Master defeating Andys brother Bruce Irons in the dying seconds. How many people do you know with those accolades on their resume?

With the competitive tour life behind him you think he'd wrap it up and call it a day, but not even Snake couldn't be kept away. Today Jake is one of the WSL tour traveling surf coaches and with his many years of experience behind him, he now advises, directs, critiques and supports some of the worlds best mens and womens surfers. Steph Gilmore Eight Time ASP/WSL Women's world champion, new sensation Erin Brooks, Mexico's first world tour surfer Al Cleveland and The US and Japan's biggest promise for a world title Kanoa Igarashi are all graced with his experience and wisdom.
